At the beginning of any relationship, it is important to know each others’ stories. If you’ve been kicking the tires for awhile and are ready to learn more about Threads’ story, and how to find your place in it, Starting Point is for you.
Let’s face it. We soak in a culture awash with consumerism. However, we believe God is more committed to His mission being accomplished than to us having our preferred church experience. Our primary way of being the church of Jesus, or his body, is as His community on mission. God has placed us here to be a blessing to the hurting, and help people find their way back to God. We do that as a community, and as spiritual family, in the world we inhabit.
Starting Point is the place to better understand how to more fully experience a relationship with Jesus that moves us out of individualism, consumerism and materialism and prepares us to live as a community on mission.
Starting Point is a one-time get-together that happens after the Worship Gathering and includes lunch and childcare.

It is offered on the first Sunday of:
- February
- April
- June
- August
- October
- December
You can sign-up for the next Starting Point at a Sunday Worship Gathering, or email our office.
