Join us on Tuesday, December 24 at 6pm for our annual Candlelight Gathering – a beautiful time of reflection, worship and celebration of the greatest gift of all.
For those of you who regularly attend Threads, remember to sit near and park far to extend hospitality to our guests.
Also, if you are able to bring some finger-snacks (not too messy) – cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, fudge, etc., please contact the office or sign up on your CONNECTion Card on Sunday. Thanks!
Year-End Giving Project
Our annual year-end giving project is the only time we take an offering that goes above and beyond our regular giving back to Threads. This is one of the ways that we ‘Love All’ as part of the Advent Conspiracy, spending less money on gifts we give to friends and family so that we can give to those who won’t be able to give back to us.
This year, the elders have designated the first $1,000 of our year-end offering to be used in weekly tangible projects to bless our neighbors as an extension of our Advent teaching series where we are exploring how God is with us in transforming ways and calls us to be with others in the same ways.
The rest of the money we receive will be used to send our mission team to Honduras next summer to support and serve our friends and partners in the orphan care community at La Providencia.
If you will not be at the Candlelight Gathering, you can securely donate online (There will be a field to note “Giving Project” before you complete your transaction). If you have any questions, please contact the office at 269.327.0445 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
