Elders

Because of Jesus, we are now following Him with our whole life.  God describes Jesus as the Leader of our lives.  He loves us.  He’s in charge.  And we carry his name.  The Bible teaches that one of the ways Jesus leads and cares for His followers is to give responsibility to some of the elder brothers and sisters to do just that.  In biblical terminology, elders shepherd, oversee, lead, and care for the family of Threads.

Scott Goddard Email Scott	Scott and his wife, Kelly, have been attending Threads since the Fall of 2002. They reside in Schoolcraft MI with their two children, Ethan and Ty. They enjoy spending their time together outdoors, whether sledding or building snowmen in the winter or swimming and playing on the beaches of Lake Michigan, during the Summer. One thing that is understood, football is a favorite of this family anytime of the year.Scott is a graduate of Alma college and has his BA in Elementary Education.
