Chasing the Lion - Tell Me Your Sorrows

Chasing the Lion

Once more he felt the warm breath of the Thing on his hand and face. “There,” it said, “that is not the breath of a ghost. Tell me your sorrows.”

From Series: "Chasing the Lion"

For generations, people have delighted in C.S. Lewis’ wonderful children’s stories, The Chronicles of Narnia. These stories capture our imaginations with talking animals, witches’ spells and exciting adventures. Yet at the center of it all is the wildly unsafe - but wonderfully good - Lion: Aslan. The genius of Lewis’ classic tales is that they echo and illustrate the one true Story, the grand narrative of the Bible. Our time in Narnia is fruitful because it will help us recognize the contours of this Story. As the Lion himself tells Lucy, “That was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there.” Join us as we jump through the wardrobe and explore Narnia through storytelling and creative illustration and discover how these stories illustrate the different movements of the grand Story of the Bible.
