What is the church? We will be considering different images that we have for the church and what it means to be part of this beautiful but flawed, human but holy family.

Following Jesus is never a solo undertaking. Adopted by the Father, we are indwelled and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be the on-going presence of Jesus as the Body of Christ in the particular places where God has sent us. In this series, we will explore what it means to be the family of God - a particular people, living a particular way in this particular place and time. We will look at the rights, roles and responsibilities that go along with this new family into which we’ve been adopted. In an individualistic and consumer culture, we are challenged to commit, belong and participate in this beautiful but flawed, human but holy family.
