Love - 2

From Series: "LOVE - Adventures in New Testament Greek"
When Jesus was asked to identify the most important of God’s many commands, he quoted the well-known passage from Deuteronomy that encourages us to love the one and only God “out of your whole heart, out of your whole soul, out of your whole mind and out of your whole strength.” At the center of the Way of Jesus is this love for God and, like it, our love for others. But love is a slippery word that needs new definition. What does this love look like, which comes out of these various parts of our being? By looking at each of the words Jesus chooses to describe this love, we can seek to bring clarity to this central and most important command which should define our lives and our life together in the Way of Jesus.
