The Church Does What It Is
If the church is the ongoing presence of Jesus in the world, what does that look like? How do we live out this identity in the world? What does the church do?

Some people ‘go to church’ on Sundays out of habit, because they just always have. Some participate out of a sense of duty, because they feel they should. Others gather for worship for what they get out of it - community, education, entertainment, support. But what IS the church? What’s the point of the church? Why do we do what we do, when and how we do it? During this series, we will seek to reorient ourselves on how God sees the church and what He desires for us and from us. As we do, we may find that this leads us to reimagine different ways to live out this identity and purpose. We may also experience renewed passion and power as God’s people.
